Pictorial Schpiel: Best Birthday Present, Oh...! NSFW (possibly)

    This reminds me of a thing I saw in The Irish News when I was up at The Press Association. One of the subs must've been carrying on or something, but there was a story about the UVF or some other sectarian gang and the image with it was of them with their guns and masks in front of what should've been some political mural in Belfast. The only thing was, someone had altered it and the mural was changed to a big pink picture of cute little puppy dogs! When someone from our office rang over to see what the craic was about it, no one in their newsroom had actually noticed (and that was at three in the afternoon!). I'd love to know what the self proclaimed hardasses thought about it though- I can just imagine their faces as they flicked through the paper to see if their 'message' had been properly reported only to discover themselves looking like the defenders of all things cute and fluffy!
