Video Schpiel: Star Trek - Tik Tok
You know songs that you hear but you never take anything by them in - including who they're by - well this is one of them for me. Modern music is too plentiful for my taste.

R.I.P. Frank Sidebottom
The legend that is Frank Sidebottom (or Chris Sievey as he was really known) has died aged 54 :-(

If you don't know anything about him or his comedy basically he completely did his own thing since the 80's and although not a lot of people "got" his humour, which was mainly on the spot stuff, those who did loved him and always kept an eye out for him wherever he was or whatever he did.
He will be sadly missed.

Video Schpiel: Aaron Schoenke's Batman
All of these are directed by film-maker Aaron Schoenke.
City Of Scars was shot in 21 days on HD cameras with a budget of $27,000 and it's synopsis is as follows:
"When the Joker escapes from Arkham and murders the parents of a young boy, Batman recalls the pain of losing his own parents as a child. He is pushed past his limits to the point where his focus becomes revenge on all who stand in his way, including many of Gotham’s underworld. Finally, Batman is forced to look at the psychological profile of his own mind and accept the consequences of his life to find resolve."

Patient J is Schoenke's second Batman feature & is described as:
"In the basement of Arkham Asylum, a desperate psychologist has secretly set up an interview with the mass-murdering Joker. As the Clown Prince of Crime reflects on the key moments of his life, the interview drifts into a game of manipulation that flirts with life and death. The film stars Paul Monlar as the Joker and Kurt Carley as the interviewer."

Fair play to the dude - i enjoy my Bats so anything that's filler til Nolan comes around in a few years again is a-ok with me!
